UI glitch seen upon moving the cursor to Compose button in the new gMail

Devices: Kip & Pixel

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Launch Chrome & login to gMail
(2) I have opted in to trying the New gMail by clicking on the Gear icon present.
(3) Try to move the cursor in to the Compose button.
(4) Verify

What is the expected result?
No UI glitch should be seen.

What happens instead?
UI glitch is seen behind the compose button. Please find the attached screen shot.

Issue is seen on 11012.0.0/70.0.3532.0 - Pixel device.

Issue is not seen on M68 Build # 68.0.3440.87 & M69 Beta Build # 69.0.3497.73
