What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Go to input text field
(2) Use glide to input text
(3) Hit backspace
(4) Nothing get's corrected, only the top bar option of the keyboard is shown
(5) Hit again, this time the whole word is deleted: Not that this is inconsistent with Android GBoard since it deletes character by character
