Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/68.0.3440.106 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: Problem: I constantly use chrome bookmarks bar on my home and work laptop and all that could be fine but I found that it is very uncomfortable to work with chrome bookmarks from my Android Device. I have to make series of taps till I get bookmark tree open on a certain folder that I need right now. What is the expected behavior? Proposal: Provide a clear way to get chrome bookmarks using an open HTTP API to allow users to integrate their Android apps with it and to create Android apps that could instantly show bookmarks without having to open the Chrome on Android. What went wrong? I can't integrate my custom tools with Chrome on Android. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 68.0.3440.106 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version:

ailjushkin@ Thanks for the issue. From the above description, this is a feature request for a API for bookmarks on Android. Hence marking this as Untriaged for further updates from Dev. Thanks..

I don't think we want to ship an HTTP server in Chrome (Yes, devtools does use one, but it's not terribly robust, and shouldn't really be used in production). Defer to the bookmarks team on whether they want to provide some other API to allow this, though.

@mmenke of course it should be an api provided by the sync server where all data is synchronized between different devices. Nice try though.

Wait what, the bookmarks team? I thought it was a joke. I'm sorry. Okay, i will try to post another issue.

Sorry, it didn't occur to me that you meant an API for sync. I didn't even realize we had sync APIs intended for public consumption.
