This is causing many ARC tests to fail and preventing us from looking into other issues in individual tests.

The Chrome OS Infra Team doesn't have the expertise or the charter
to triage mere test failures; it needs to be done by product team
engineers.  These are cheets test failures, so the triage needs to
start with the ARC++ team.

When all else fails, ARC++ failures start with the ARC++ constable.

on the other hand I don't see any cheets_StartAndroid or cheets_CTS failures even though they should have run tens of thousands of times during.

My gut guess is that tests doing gaia login is affected?

I coudldn't repro it locally, either.
I ran login_GaiaLogin and several ARC tests on my caroline-arcnext DUT but they all passed (or failed with other errors.)

Assigning back to ricardoq@, but maybe we should find someone familiar with GAIA login on autotest, as kinaba@ pointed out.

If kinaba@ is right this may be a dup of  crbug.com/879353 , still reading logs but this seems similar at first glance.

It is similar, but don't think that fix is going to work for the other autotest. I'll take a look.

Actually, this is a dupe of 879353, since the cheets tests actually use gaia login. This ought to be fixed by https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/catapult/+/1197749.
