Issue descriptionGoogle Chrome 69.0.3497.58 (Official Build) beta (64-bit) Chrome OS Version: 10895.33.0 (Official Build) beta-channel edgar Chrome OS Platform: Acer Chromebook 14 CB3-431 Network info: Wifi, WPA2, BT Smarthub Please specify Cr-* of the system to which this bug/feature applies (add the label below). Steps To Reproduce: (1) Not reproducible. Random occurrence. (2) (3) Expected Result: Chromebook working correctly Actual Result: Chromebook screen goes blank, power button briefly turns on blue power light on the side with no change to the screen. A forced restart by holding the power button for a minute is necessary after it happens. How frequently does this problem reproduce? (Always, sometimes, hard to reproduce?) Hard to reproduce due to it being a random occurrence. It has happened while using the Chromebook and having it sit idle, plugged in and unplugged, with no particular tab, site, app open. What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is it? Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screen shot or log if possible. Log analyser shows a TPM error 0x21, crash reporting, and a NOTREACHED() error in the logs. The NOTREACHED() error says that it is always caused by a coding error and should be reported, hence the report. A copy of the log has been uploaded to this report. For graphics-related bugs, please copy/paste the contents of the about:gpu page at the end of this report. |
