Hard to distinguish between profiles with new avatar menu button

Project Member Reported by michae...@chromium.org, Aug 24

Issue description

It's hard to tell what profile I'm using because the avatar/profile icon button is too small and low-contrast in its location after the top-bar MD refresh.

Previously there was an easy-to-read name or, before that, a larger icon.

For example, compare the two screenshots attached. You can't even tell that my icon is supposed to be a martini glass! It would be much easier to get through my day if I had my trusty, faithful, never-empty cocktail glass always in my peripheral vision waiting to be consumed.

I agree this is pretty bad. Either we need to have those images be larger or we need to create specific versions for that size that are more recognizable (those look like scaled-down larger images).
