Showing results for How to fix this error Search instead for How to fix this erro 3) I click on the first option of "Showing results for How to fix this error" which returns a lot of results. 4) I click on the first search result "Fix Windows Update errors - Microsoft Support" which returns a result page. 5) Then I select "Click to go back". It again shows the two options as below which is wrong. It should show a web page similar to the step 3 like a normal result without any suggestions like "Showing results for". Showing results for How to fix this error Search instead for How to fix this erro What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? It again shows the two options as below which is wrong. It should show a web page similar to the step 3 like a normal result without any suggestions like "Showing results for". Did this work before? Able to reproduce the issue on chrome version 60.0.3072.0 ,reported version #68.0.3440.106 and on latest chrome #70.0.3530.0 using Mac OS 10.13.6,Windows 10 and Ubuntu 17.10 by following below steps. Steps: ===== 1.Launched chrome. 2.Entered "How to fix this erro" in omnibar. 3.In the results page selected "Showing results for How to fix this error". 4.After the reults page opened, clicked on "Fix Windows Update errors - Microsoft Support". 5.Clicked on "Click to go back", and observed that , it again shows the two options "Showing results for How to fix this error" and "Search instead for How to fix this erro" This is a non regression issue as this behaviour is observed from old M-60 builds. Hence marking it as untriaged and requesting dev team to look into the issue. Thanks.!

Thanks for the report. This is not a problem with the Chrome web browser but instead a request / feedback for Google search. Can you please the tiny "Send feedback" link at the bottom of the Google search results page to send them feedback about this issue? There's nothing to do about this in Chrome. |
