Description:
When a user receives a new Hangouts Classic chat message on a pinned Gmail tab, while navigating on different tab, only the sound plays with a speaker icon, which is supposed to be replaced by a blue indicator dot meaning that user has a new unread message. However, the blue dot is not displayed anymore on Windows 7/10 on Chrome 68.0.3440.106.

Issue could be reproduced on Windows 7/10 Enterprise on Chrome 68.0.3440.106 64bit.

Current Behavior / Reproduction: 
Blue indicator doesn't appear on pinned tab when a new Hangouts Classic chat message is received, only a speaker icon is shown when playing the notification sound.

Expected Behavior: 
Blue indicator appears on pinned tab when a new Hangouts Classic chat message is received.
