Google Photos - post deletion observation

Reported by kmarkm...@gmail.com, Aug 22

Issue description

Hi,

Just observed, if I save a direct (full) link to an image of photos.google.com, then I delete the image totally (from the bin as well), the direct link is still valid.

Moreover, looks like
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/
are also storing a copy.

Are these replicating and will these reflect to the main instance's deletion request?

Is this only the matter of time (+24hrs till the cache will be emptied, etc) or is this a bug?

Thx,
             Mark

This is not an issue with Chrome, so we generally can't help you here.

But I deleted a photo from my drive yesterday and the link became unawailable within less than 24 hours, so I guess this is just some delay to replicate the deletion to the CDN.

Confirmed and thx., just some time needed. It was an issue at a time, but earlier. Just thought it is back again, but fortunately not.
