[VR Browsing] check boxes don't align with menu items in Closed Captions menu

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Enter VR browsing and go to a YT video
(2) Play the video, and enter fullscreen mode
(3) Click on the video's menu icon and then click on "Captions"
(4) In the list of available captions, click all the options one by one.

What is the expected result? The check mark should appear next to the menu item that was selected.

What happens instead? The check mark appears below the menu item that was selected, looking like the next option was actually clicked. See screenshot attached.

Note that bug 865010 is specific to the multiple check boxes being selected at once issue.

This actually looks like a 2D issue. Can we reproduce it on different screen sizes in 2D?
Ian might know who is best 2D Owner for this.
