Text '?undefined' is appended after mail id while clicked on 'sign in' in chrome browser's Hangout extension

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3521.2 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open Hangout extension of chrome browser
2. Click on sign in button
3. See the mail id populated by default in newly opened window.

What is the expected behavior?
Mail id is shown as <mailid>?undefined .
It should be <mailid>

What went wrong?
Mail id is shown as <mailid>?undefined .

Did this work before? N/A

Thanks for filing the issue!

Unable to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 70.0.3521.2 using Windows 10 with the below mentioned steps.
1. Launched Chrome
2. Opened web store and added hangouts extension
3. Clicked on the sign in -> entered mail ID
We didn't observe any undefined after mail ID.

@Reporter: Could you please check the same in a new profile and let us know if the issue still persists.

**UI mass Triage**

We were unable to reproduce this bug on windows 10 using latest canary #72.0.3611.0. If this bug still reproduces for you, please reopen or file a new issue.
