Mix-blend-mode does not work with color names

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_4) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/68.0.3440.106 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Create html and css file
2. Add color and define color as a text, ex "black" to text element such as h1, h2
3. Add mix-blend-mode

What is the expected behavior?
Mix blend mode works

What went wrong?
The text is not visible

Did this work before? N/A 

Does this work in other browsers? N/A

Chrome version: 68.0.3440.106  Channel: stable
OS Version: OS X 10.13.4
