Sometimes Chinese/Japanese candidate window disappear on app Launcher search field

Chrome Version       : 70.0.3524.2
Platform             : 10975.0.0 - Celes, Peppy


What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. set IME to Pinyin input method
2. enter "ttjk" slowly on the Search field

What is the expected result?
The candidate window should stay until committing the input.

What happens instead?
The Chinese candidate window disappears instantly.


Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
Unable to reproduce the issue on works find on omnibox, Findinpage,gmail, etc...

Unable to reproduce the issue on Chrome70.0.3538.7/ CrOS 11021.5.0 -  Snappy, Peppy. CJK works fine on APP Launcher.
