Hi, The problem is gone with this version? Version 70.0.3528.4 (Official Build) dev (64-bit) Not sure exactly which version worked after 70.0.3521.2, since Chrome auto updates. Also, I verified there is no OWA "download" attachment preferences exposed to the user. There is an "upload" attachment preference setting that I force to never prompt. You can close this ticket. Thanks.

Arrgg! OWA is back to the prompt for file attachment download. :( Chrome still does not handle the bottom popup window. Please reopen this ticket.

Why is this marked WONTFIX? Is the bottom popup window not compliant with html or javascript? Or is there a hidden Chrome setting that is blocking the popup? I have outlook on my allowed list and uBlock Origin is OFF. Annnnd, today the same attachments download fine. Antivirus is running as normal. Chrome is clearly intermittent regarding owa download attachments. Does not matter the file type. Please advise what log or action I can take to report the issue when it recurs.

Ok, Not a solution, but downloads proceed if I choose the "light" version of Outlook OWA. The normal version still "bottom prompts" for the user to decide where to store attachments. I can find no setting that allows bypassing this prompt. Better if Chrome supports the "bottom prompt" window? |
