Live-server function in Visual Studio Code freezes chrome

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/68.0.3440.106 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Opening Visual Studio Code project
2. Clicking on open with Live Server
3. Chrome freezes and no other tabs can be used until the live-server tab is closed.

What is the expected behavior?
Up until yesterday everything worked like normal. 

What went wrong?
No idea. Im doing a javascript course and everything has worked smooth each day this week. Today was the first day with the issue.

Did this work before? Yes Previous version.

Does this work in other browsers? N/A

Chrome version: 68.0.3440.106  Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0

Thanks for filing the issue!

@Reporter: Could you please try to test this issue by creating new person with no apps and extensions in it and let us know if the issue still persists. If the tab hung is still seen then keep the tab open and check it the tab freeze result render to tab crash, if crashed please provide the crash id by navigating to Chrome://crashes.
