The full output from "repo sync" on TOT ChromeOS is currently about 14 meg.

The vast majority of the output isn't useful, makes loading logs much slower than it should be, and hides useful output in the noise. We should consider hiding it, at least on success.

The challenge is that buildbot (maybe swarming?) considers a build "hung" if it goes more than about 5 minutes without generating any logs at all.
