Sign in to chrome with the account which is already logged in other devices 3. Open a new tab page 4. Go to recent tabs and wait for the other devices records to load 4. Long press on the device name 5. This is the intended behavior and this is how it used to work pre UIRefresh as well. Since the action can open one than more tab then it might feel kind of random to open one in the current tab and the rest in new tabs. The bad part is that we don't have any feedback that the tabs were open other than the TabGrid button count. Closing the bug but ccing Mardini/Gabe in case they think should be changed/improved somehow so we can create a feature request.

Ya this seems like the current behavior is fine. The only thing I wonder is whether to have some feedback that this worked (e.g. a toast or an animation where the link icon moves to the tab switcher icon).

I guess we could try using gambard's@ new animation for opening a link in a new tab. |
