Issue descriptionCROS: 10971.0.0/70.0.3519.3 Please specify Cr-* of the system to which this bug/feature applies (add the label below). Steps To Reproduce: (1)Try to create/open a folder from app launcher (2) (3) Expected Result: Actual Result: Seen browser crash How frequently does this problem reproduce? (Always, sometimes, hard to reproduce?) What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is it? Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screen shot or log if possible. For graphics-related bugs, please copy/paste the contents of the about:gpu page at the end of this report.

Its not account specific, All our test team easily reproduced. just drag & drop app into another app.

Not silly at all, STR = Steps to reproduce. I wasn't sure if I missed something between the original report and #10. They seem like different steps to try.

After offline discussion with abodeti@, the bug disappears when feature flag #apps-grid-gap is disabled. And this flag is currently disabled on ToT, but not yet in the canary. Also the speculative fix to the bug is on the ToT as well. We will wait until next week to test on canary to decide whether to reenable that flag again. Right now, we agreed that release block should be removed.

We reenabled the flag #enable-apps-grid-gap in latest dev build after speculative fix. I just imaged that build and I didn't see the crash. I would mark this as fixed. Please feel free to reopen it if it occurs again. |
