Issue descriptionDevice name: s7, Pixel From "Settings > About Chrome" Application version:70.0.3520.0 Operating system:8.0, 9.0 Steps to reproduce: (1) open www.chip.pl in new tab - icon has got white color (looks OK) (2) open https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/1154527 in the same tab - icon still has got white color Expected result: Icon color is updated this way, that icon is readable Actual result: Icon color is refreshed only after additional actions in the tab

Tested this issue on 70.0.3520.0/70.0.3521.0 using Android 9/Pixel 2. Below are the observations. 1. Enabled chrome modern design and restarted chrome 2. Restarted twice to get this enabled. 3. Opened https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/1154527 and didn't observe any icon on left side. @ marcin: Please check the steps and let us know if we miss anythin? Also please reset all flags to default and let us know if this issue still exists. Thanks!

I don't know what flag is enabling/disabling this icon in next builds - I will be very thankful, if you could confirm/explain it with SWE. PS. I would be also very thankful, if disabling this icon will be possible.
