network_service_browser_tests flaky on chromium.win/Win 7 Tests x64 |

Issue descriptionHigh-level bug spun off from Issue 872575 . I only deal with SettingsA11yManagePasswords in Issue 872575 . This is for the remaining issues: https://ci.chromium.org/p/chromium/builders/luci.chromium.ci/Win%207%20Tests%20x64%20%281%29/41488 failures (ignoring SettingsA11yManagePasswords): All/PasswordManagerBrowserTestWithViewsFeature.PromptForPushStateWhenFormDisappears/1 All/PasswordManagerBrowserTestWithViewsFeature.ChangePwdFormPushStateBubbleShown/1 CrControlledButtonTest. All CrSettingsSiteListTest.EditExceptionDialog BrowsingDataRemoverBrowserTest.HistoryDeletion CrExtensionsNavigationHelperTest.SupportedRoutes CrSettingsCategoryDefaultSettingTest. All MaterialHistoryRoutingTest. All All/PasswordManagerBrowserTestWithViewsFeature.PromptForPushStateWhenFormDisappears_ParametersInOrigins/1 WebUIImplBrowserTest.SameDocumentNavigationsAndReload SecurityStateTabHelperTest.ConsoleMessageNotPrintedForPushStateNavigation/1 I believe these are all timeouts. This started about 6 days ago. No obvious cause. The same tests (or tests matching those patterns) are still failing today.

All/PasswordManagerBrowserTestWithViewsFeature.PromptForFetchSubmitWithoutNavigation/0 looks to be generally flaky (Issue 870372), as does CrControlledButtonTest. All ( issue 873365 )...Actually, just look at https://ci.chromium.org/p/chromium/builders/luci.chromium.try/win7_chromium_rel_ng/59883 - it looks like all of these are flaky without the network service. It's pretty much exact same set of tests, so I don't think this is a network service issue (Though FindIt *did* blame one of the tests flaking on https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/1155309, which seems not too likely to me - it could break tests, certainly, but not sure if it could do so flakily).

I'm going to claim that bug 870372 and bug 871692 track the main problems here; we can look again once those get fixed. |
