chromevox skipping while speaking

Chrome Version : 67.0.3396.99
OS Version: 10575.58.0

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1 Try loading an intensive webpage with lots of elements.
2. The Chromevox voice seems to be skipping or lagging
3.
What is the expected result?
Chromevox would not skip while speaking
What happens instead of that?
the voice skips
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
I think this might have something to do with process priority. Maybe bump the TTS and Chromevox up to a higher priority over the web browser and other processes

Hello, I haven't been able to repro this bug, I haven't seen ChromeVox lagging on object-intense pages. I have some delays in ChromeVox getting started on old machines near the end of their life cycle, but once ChromeVox starts it's responsive. Please update to the latest version of ChromeVox and please let me know if you're still experiencing this issue. If you do reply, please provide an example webpage and let me know your machine type by copying the first four lines from chrome://version. For example, here are the details for my Caroline machine: Google Chrome 71.0.3578.8 (Official Build) dev (64-bit) Revision a2c2b8f674ee3b7372bc87891e04a14a0e51e812-refs/branch-heads/3578@{#14} Platform 11151.4.0 (Official Build) dev-channel caroline Firmware Version Google_Caroline.7820.384.0 Thanks, Laura |
