Issue descriptionChrome Version (from the about:version page): 69.0.3497.21 (Official Build) dev (64-bit) Is this the most recent version: Yes OS + version: Debian GNU/Linux 9 CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): 64-bit Window manager: none, terminal URLs (if relevant): https://github.com/dnschneid/crouton Behavior in Linux Firefox: N/A Behavior in Windows Chrome (if you have access to it): N/A What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Recover Chrome OS with recovery USB (2) Enable DEV channel (3) Enable Linux container (4) Use apt-get to update, upgrade and dist-upgrade (5) Download Crouton (https://goo.gl/fd3zc) (6) Run: sh crouton What is the expected result? Crouton being installed on the machine What happens instead? Get the message: Your version of Chromium OS is extraordinarily old. If there are updates pending, please reboot and try again. Otherwise, you may not be getting automatic updates, in which case you should post your update_engine.log from chrome://system to http://crbug.com/296768 and restore your device using a recovery USB: https://goo.gl/AZ74hj Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot and backtrace if possible. Screenshot attached. update_engine.log attached.
