An orange area in image is rendered with wrong green edge

Issue description

Chrome Version: 68.0.3440.75 (Official Build) (64-bit)
OS: Linux xxx 4.15.0-29-generic #31~16.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Wed Jul 18 08:54:04 UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Open new tab page
(2) See the center 'o' of Google log

What is the expected result?
Orange 'o' should not have green edge.

What happens instead?
Orange 'o' has green edge.

Do you see this anywhere else at all?

My first guess is that it is a sub-pixel text rendering issue specific to your machine. It would be helpful also if you could get a zoomed-in screen grab of the problem so we can see what the anti-aliasing looks like.


Duplicate of  bug 867813  fixed in Chrome 69 (about a month until it becomes stable).
