Is voice search invoked by clicking on the microphone in the Fakebox? Is anything else enabled? I cannot repro on Mac (69.0.3497.81 and 71.0.3548.0 (Canary)). Have yet to try on Windows (remote desktop seems to disable microphone access).

Asking for a bit of clarification since the google search results page is separate from the NTP. Is this an issue for voice search on the google results page, not voice search when invoked from the NTP? |
