HTML clipboard format does not contain spaces that were between spans at the ends of lines

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.99 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Load the attached file.
2. Ctrl-A to select all the text on the page
3. Ctrl-C to copy the text 
4. Paste the text into a word processor that gets the HTML clipboard format, e.g. OpenOffice Text.

What is the expected behavior?
All the spaces should be preserved.

What went wrong?
The words that were displayed at the ends of lines do not have spaces after them.

Chrome version: 67.0.3396.99  Channel: n/a
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: 

When viewing the HTML clipboard format in a clipboard viewer I can already see that the spaces are missing in the clipboard.

Wrapping the spaces in their own spans does not help as a workaround, nor does moving the spaces into one of the neighboring spans.

Unable to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 67.0.3396.99 and latest chrome stable 68.0.3440.84 using Windows 10 and 7. Attaching screen-cast for reference.
Steps: 
---------
1. Launched reported chrome and Loaded the attached file.
2. Selected all by hitting Ctrl-A and copied by hitting Ctrl-C 
3. Opened word document and pasted the content 
As we are able see regular display on chrome

@Reporter: Could you please upgrade to latest chrome stable 67.0.3396.99, you can downlad latest chrome builds here:" https://www.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel " and let us know if issue still persists.

In the movie at 0:30 there are three missing spaces, after the words "fathers", "nation,", and "the", in "fathersbrought", "nation,conceived" and "theproposition".

Able to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 67.0.3396.99 also on latest chrome 70.0.3510.2 using Mac 10.13.5 and Windows 10.  

NOTE: Issue seen on Ubuntu 17.10

Same behavior is seen on M60(60.0.3112.113) hence considering it as non-regression and marking it as Untriaged.

This issue is still reproducible on windows 10 using latest canary 72.0.3611.0. Adding valid labels.
