[macOS] Improper 'Look up' overlay is seen for selected image URL

Issue descriptionChrome Version: 69.0.3497.23 Revision a0f931c424245a817bf2ad63eb45c6c95f28e1ee-refs/branch-heads/3497@{#301}(64 bit) OS: Mac(10.12.6 , 10.13.1 , 10.13.6, 10.14). What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Launch chrome, navigate to google.com and search for text(e.g. Car) in images section. (2) Open any image and click on Share icon, select image URL then Right click on it. (3) Select 'Look up' option and observe look op overlay. Actual: Improper Look op overlay is seen for selected image url. Expected: Look op overlay should seen properly. This is a non-regression issue, seen from 'M-61' Note: 1.Issue is not seen on Win(7,8,8.1,10) and Linux(14.01 LTS) OS. 2.Issue is also seen on Stable build #68.0.3440.84 ,Beta build #68.0.3440.75 and Canary build #70.0.3508.0

Route to UI>Browser>Contextual since overlay popup is controlled by Chrome. Blink isn't related to this.

It seems "Look Up" menu item does dictionary lookup. Image URLs are not in dictionary...

"Look Up" appears in other apps for URLs as well - it doesn't just do dictionary lookups, but also searches the web, iTunes, and so on. It should be there. |
