Google Chrome CRASHES during "show password" action

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/68.0.3440.75 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. save a password
2. go to settings -> show passwords
3. click on the "show password eyeball"
4. try to enter your computer user password and CHROME crashes.

What is the expected behavior?
the password should show.

What went wrong?
see attached CRASH items and log

How much crashed? Whole browser

Is it a problem with a plugin? No 

Did this work before? Yes In Jan 2018

Chrome version: 68.0.3440.75  Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)
Flash Version: 

Alot of other people complaining about this. Search google for "Google chrome show password crash" and you will see this issue needs attention.

Tested in chrome # 68.0.3440.75 on win 7 and not able to reproduce the issue.
@headofdays: Could you please let me know if i have missed anything and if possible,Please create new profile without extensions and apps.Re-check once and let us know the observations and provide the 16 digit crash id from chrome://crashes of the issue which would help us to triage the issue further.

In the process of gathering a new crash report I removed extensions, uninstalled chrome, reboot, ran windows updates, fresh install of chrome and now the issue has evaporated... typical software irony. 

I will leave crash reporting on and should the issue persist I will report again.
