Thanks for your reply. I just downloaded the latest Chrome version for iOS
(68.0.3440.83), reset my phone, and then tried again. Unfortunately, the
result is still the same. As I start typing, Chrome doesn't suggest any of
my commonly visited websites. I have to type the entire address every time
on every website.

Hi Alejandro, 

By any chance, have you cleared your history? The omnibox suggestions for previously used URLs are populated using the browser history, so if you clear it, no suggestions should show up.

I haven't cleared my browsing history recently, and even if I had, Chrome
should start suggesting my most frequently visited websites after I visit
them a few times.

Due to this issue and the constant crashing of the app (aw snap errors)
even after upgrading to the latest version, I've decided to delete the
Chrome app from my phone and use a different browser.

As far as I'm concerned, you can consider this issue closed.

Without the repro steps, we can't really proceed. 

As you can see in my last reply, I have deleted the Chrome app from my phone and replaced it with Firefox. 

You can close this issue as I will not use the Chrome app anymore.
