UI scale and UI font size does not matching

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/68.0.3440.75 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. I have changed "Force fonts DPI" setting from 96 to 120 in plasma desktop system setting 2. after that all other browser and application looks good and normal but google chrome What is the expected behavior? Chrome should scale UI as other applications did after font DPI setting What went wrong? After fonts DPI setting, chrome UI font size is normal but UI scale is big and a bit blurry so i used --force-device-scale-factor=1 command line option, and this time UI scale is normal but font size is too small to see Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 68.0.3440.75 Channel: stable OS Version: ubuntu 18.04 with plasma desktop Flash Version: I have tested with clean install after deleting ~/.config/google-chrome Im using intel gpu laptop, 1366 x 768, xorg plasma desktop

Thanks for filling the issue... Tested this issue on reported chrome 68.0.3440.75 and latest chrome stable 68.0.3440.106 using Ubuntu 17.10 with HP Desktop, As of now we don't have Ubuntu 18.04. Attaching screen-cast for reference. Steps: --------- 1. Launched reported chrome 2. Navigate Desktop settings>> Universal Access>> Large Text As we are observed that chrome displays correctly as per setting @Reporter: Could you please review the attached screen-shots and confirm if anything being missed here. If possible provide specific steps to reproduce the issue. Also mention that issue specific to plasma desktop. Thanks.! |
