Unable to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 68.0.3440.75 using Ubuntu 17.10. Attaching screen-cast for reference. Steps: --------- 1. Launched terminal 2. Entered " google-chrome " on terminal As we are observed that chrome launches successfully. @reporter : Request you to check and confirm if anything is missed from our end in reproducing the issue and any further information will help in better triaging.. Thanks !

Don't run Chrome as root. Run as a normal user. |
