[PIP] Controls button icons sometimes turn black

OS: Mac

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Enter PiP
(2) Toggle play/pause button

What is the expected result?
play button with white background

What happens instead?
black square with white background. pause/close don't seem to be affected. see screenshot.
