Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.99 Safari/537.36 Example URL: https://codepen.io/anon/pen/EpwBEj Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Go to https://codepen.io/anon/pen/EpwBEj 2. Paste some text multiple times (i.e. https://codepen.io/anon/pen/EpwBEj) until text cursor disappears. What is the expected behavior? Text cursor is visible and blinking. What went wrong? Cursor dsiappeared. Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? N/A Chrome version: 67.0.3396.99 Channel: n/a OS Version: OS X 10.12.3 Flash Version: This is the only stable way to reproduce this problem, but users reported other scenarios. I attached some examples of other issues. They seem to be appear in contenteditable with scroll only.

Unable to reproduce the issue on chrome reported version# 67.0.3396.99 and on latest stable# 68.0.3440.84 using Mac 10.12.6 with steps mentioned below: 1) Launched chrome reported version and navigated to URL: https://codepen.io/anon/pen/EpwBEj 2) Entered the text into the field multiple times, didn't observed disappear of cursor @Reporter: Please find the attached screencast for your reference, try to test this issue by creating new person with no apps and extensions in it or try to test the issue on latest chrome stable# 68.0.3440.84 and let us know if the issue still persists. I tried all this steps on my work computer. I have Canary Build there and latest Stable build. Issue persists across both versions. Attaching screencast.

I also could not reproduce this on M68 and M70. Could you disable all extensions? It seems extensions do something...

No, I disabled all extensions and see the same result. Also, multiple people around me can confirm the same behaviour. Moreover, users of our service (https://vk.com), which uses contenteditable complained a lot about this issue.

Is there any updates on this? I was able to reproduce this easily on my coworkers' macbooks multiple times without any complications. This bug heavily affects UX on our messaging services. Because it is very hard to write long messages without cursor(

I could not reproduce on MacPro with Chrojme: 68.0.3440 (Official Build) 64-bit OS version: X 10.13.6 There are OS version differences: #c1: 10.12.3 #c3: 10.12.6 #c10: 10.13.6 terminal2010@, could you try to newer version of macOS?
