Clapper : BT controller lost

Chrome Version: 69.0.3497.13 / 10895.4.0 clapper

What steps will reproduce the problem?

(1)Pair and connect BT devices
(2)Suspend the device or leave the device idle for sometime


What is the expected result?

We should be able to use the connected BT devices after resuming the machine

What happens instead?

After sometime the BT devices stopped working and when i reboot the machine the BT controller itself was lost

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

This happened just once. Below is the feedback report from the machine

Thanks Pramod for the feedback! Clapper uses Intel 7260 chip.

The following error was found

[ 7059.096684] usb 1-2.4: device not accepting address 23, error -71

The error persisted even after the machine was rebooted:

2018-07-25T15:24:53.593038-07:00 ERR kernel: [    4.649560] Bluetooth: btintel.c:btintel_read_version() hci0: Reading Intel version information failed (-110)

This was a bluetooth controller hardware/firmare issue. Please let's keep an eye on it. We should let Intel know if this issue keeps occurring.
