I am having the same problem with an Asus Chromebox. I typed in k120 ten times and got this: k12) k1@) k1@0 k120 k1@0 k1@) k120 k1@0 k12) k120. The problem is only with the On-Screen Keyboard.

Can reproduce this on Canary 70.0.3514.0 on the old UI. One somewhat repro is pressing '2' many times, then pressing backspace many times, and then pressing '3'. I got '#' several times instead of '3'. Could be an autocapitalisation bug. Can't repro with new UI however.

That's exactly what's happening to me. And there is no correlation when using backspace or typing character several times. Also, it's sporatic, I cannot establish a pattern.
