What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Enter VR browsing and go to google.com
(2) Click in the search bar to bring up the VR keyboard.
(3) Press the controller home button to exit and bring up Daydream Home screen.
(4) Click on the Chrome link to re-open Chrome

What is the expected result? 2D keyboard should not appear in VR browsing.

What happens instead? 2D Keyboard appears. See screenshot.
