Issue descriptionApp Version: 70.0.3501.0 canary iOS Version:10.3.3, 11.4.1 Devices: iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 7 Plus, iPad Pro Prerequisite: Enable #slim-navigation-manager flag from chrome://flags Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch iOS Chrome 2. Go to Menu>Incognito tab 3. Tap on the tab switcher icon 4. Tap on ‘+’ to open a new incognito tab Observed results: Shows about: & white blank screen is displayed for a moment while opening a new incognito tab Expected results: Should not display about: & white blank screen while opening a new incognito tab Number of times you were able to reproduce: 5/5 Bug reproducible after clean install: Yes Bug reproducible after clearing cache and cookies: Yes Bug reproducible on Chrome Mobile on Android: NA Bug reproducible on Safari/Firefox: Firefox: NA, Safari: NA Bug reproducible on the current stable build :M67, No Bug reproducible on the beta build :M68, No Bug reproducible on the current beta channel build :M69, Yes Type-bug-regression? justincohen@ Tested on a latest M72(72.0.3615.0) canary build and issue is also reproducible with slim nav disabled.

subhashinik@ I think this is a different bug now. Before this was about 'about:' showing in the title (which sounded like a slim nav issue) plus a white flash in the tab grid. We can no longer reproduce the 'about:', but we are still seeing a white flash in the tab grid, with or without slim nav enabled. subhashinik@ can you confirm this is correct, and update the bug? Or are you still seeing "about" with these, or other, steps? thanks!

justincohen@ Yes, issue was about 'about:' showing in the title and a white flash in the tab grid and this issue was reproducible only with #slim-navigation-manager flag enabled. Now, tested on latest M72 canary build and 'about:' issue is no longer reproducible with #slim-navigation-manager enabled but still seeing white flash in the tab grid with or without #slim-navigation-manager enabled.
