Actual result: The expanded layout close itself automatically.

Why does this need to be merged into M69? It is not identified as a regression, can't it be fixed in M70 where reported? Thanks.

No, it's not a regression because in the old UI the expanded more candidates view is not supported. We're dogfooding the new UI which introduces this feature in M69 beta. The bug may frustrate users when they use handwriting.
