Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS aarch64 10888.0.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3494.0 Safari/537.36 Platform: 10888.0.0 (Official Build) dev-channel kevin Steps to reproduce the problem: Using a fully updated (ARC Version 4898482) Samsung Chromebook Plus device 1. Install the official licensed Risk boardgame from Play Store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hasbro.riskbigscreen) 2. Launch application 3. Title screen background appears, music playing, menu items invisible What is the expected behavior? A rollicking good time: (menu items visible and ability to launch a game). Correct behavior can be trivially confirmed by installing game on another device such as a phone. What went wrong? Appears to be an ARC bug where layering does not work correctly. Several 1 star reviews on the Play Store for this device (Samsung Chromebook Plus) also experience it. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 69.0.3494.0 Channel: dev OS Version: 10888.0.0 Flash Version: I think this is the place to bug reports targeting ARC on ChromeOS (mostly it works perfectly, but I have a few more bug reports I will be creating). Good job whoever came up with ARC and Crostini.

I believe that this issue is related to the issue that we have with our Unity project. https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=870785

This seems to happen for any unity app, in general text and menu items along with other things don't appear. Checked from a ASUS C101PA running stable 68, but the issue was also there on 67.

Comment #2, you are correct. It is the same issue. That issue was merged into https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=859772 and now has been resolved. I can confirm the issue has been resolved on my device after updating to the latest OS version (dev channel). Please mark this issue as duplicate of 859772, and close it. |
