Chromium crashes on changing default search engine in --no-sandbox mode

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3359.170 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Run chromium from root with --no-sandbox
2. Go to settings and change default search engine
3. Snap!

What is the expected behavior?
Search engine changes normally

What went wrong?
I've tried to change default search engine from DuckDuckGo to Google and browser crashed, i repeated same process and it did it again. I can't get it working!

Thanks for filing the issue.
Could you please check the issue on latest stable-67.0.3396.99 & please provide us the 16 digit crash id from chrome://crashes (as in attached  screenshot) if still issue persists.

Works for me ToT with --no-sandbox.

Crash report not available.
