crostini: dialogs of gtk+3 apps are not focused

Project Member Reported by mukai@chromium.org, Jul 20

Issue description

ChromeOS / Crostini, ToT

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) activate crostini, install gtk-3-examples there
(2) open gtk3-demo
(3) double click 'dialogs and message boxes'

What is the expected result?
a dialog pops up, the window focus moves to the new dialog

What happens instead?
a dialog pops up, but it does not get keyboard focus.
The dialog responds to mouse events or key events actually, but it has no visual clue. Also this confuses the IME bridge (for issue 826614)

The following revision refers to this bug:
  https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src.git/+/8f5bd147b2714e4ba0dce74cb80502cc6ac4a635

commit 8f5bd147b2714e4ba0dce74cb80502cc6ac4a635
Author: Jun Mukai <mukai@chromium.org>
Date: Mon Jul 23 22:11:26 2018

set the application id on xdg_toplevel_v6_set_app_id

It seems Gtk+3 apps are calling this request, which is currently
ignored silently and causes an issue like crbug.com/866189 .

Bug: 866189
Test: manually on device (see the bug for the reproducible steps)
