Bookmarks bar items tend to duplicate themselves randomly (folders included) |

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.99 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Unknown repro steps :( What is the expected behavior? Bookmarks don't duplicate What went wrong? Every so often my bookmarks like to be duplicated. It tends to be 2-3 different bookmarks, sometimes entire folders get duplicated and then added to the end. This happens to multiple folders. My guess is it sometimes happens when I'm adding a new folder in the menu generated by clicking the star to bookmark Did this work before? No Chrome version: 67.0.3396.99 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.13.6 Flash Version: This happens across multiple folders.

Thanks for filing the issue! This issue seems to be related to Issue: 816724 , hence merging into it and marking it as Duplicate. Note: Feel free to Un-Dupe it if not the case and tentatively adding Services>Sync component to it. Thanks!

Similar, but maybe different. Mine duplicates existing bookmarks; it does not necessarily resurrect other deleted bookmarks. I'm ok with keeping this closed. Any update on when this will be looked into? |
