What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Ensure that Google Play is Enabled and Developer Options are on.
2. Search for "Enable parallel running of tasks" in Android settings.
3. Search should return one result. (see screenshot)
4. Click the result, and you are taken to developer options.

What is the expected result?
"Enable parallel running of tasks" should be available as an option in Developer Options

What happens instead of that?
"Enable parallel running of tasks" is not available on developer options.

"Enable parallel running of tasks" is a developer option available in Google Play settings. Prior to a couple of weeks ago, it was working just fine, however the option has since disappeared.

I believe this is a bug, as the option still appears in Search Results for settings (see screenshot), just not in the settings themselves, so there's no way to enable it. I am able to duplicate the issue on both Stable and Beta channels.

I consider this to be a core use case of Android apps on a Chromebook as it allows Android apps to run in the background.

I am currently using a Chromebook Pixel 2015.
