Still submit zhuyin character when uncheck <input language is Chinese> in opt-in menu

Chrome os:

input tools version:
9999.0.20180715.204676558

Steps:
1.Switch to Zhuyin keyboard
2.Uncheck <input language is Chinese> in opt-in menu 
3.Tap any key

Actual:
Still submit Zhuyin character without underline
Refers to attached video

Note:
If tap key with physical keyboard ,can submit English letter
