Regression [M68]: echo cancellation is cancelling actual input in case of headset

Reported by hrun...@gmail.com, Jul 19

Issue description

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use Chrome Beta [68.0.3440.59]
2. Use headset
3. Make a call

What is the expected result?
Remote can hear you fine

What do you see instead?
Remote can't hear you

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
68.0.3440.59 Win 10

Please provide any additional information below.

Probably the problem is related to a previously fixed one: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/webrtc/issues/detail?id=8314#c2

Chrome tends to perform badly in non-noise no-echo environments.

Thanks for reporting this and for adding the recording! I analyzed the recording and I can clearly see the described issue in the recording. However, when I try to reproduce using WebRTC M69, the issue is no longer reproducible.

I'm not sure what it was that improved on this particular scenario, but a number of echo canceller improvements have been added in M69 to address scenarios such as this.

I'll close this issue, but please reopen the issue if it occurs again!
