Some AppEngine apps log you out of Chrome Sync when logging out of the app |

Issue descriptionChrome Version: Version 68.0.3440.68 (Official Build) beta (64-bit) OS: MacOS 10.13.6 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Sign into Chrome and enable sync (2) Go to an AppEngine app using the "users" API from circa June 2017, e.g. http://hangman-175714.appspot.com/home (3) Sign into the app (4) Sign out of the app What is the expected result? You are still signed into Chrome when you sign out of the app What happens instead? You are signed out of Chrome Sync and need to re-enter your password It wasn't just this site. I had the same result on a different page from the same hackathon-like event. This is definitely a P1 bug. The user experience is terrible and there's no knowing how many sites will trigger it.

This indeed look like a duplicate of 865189. Can you check if it is fixed now?

I'm not seeing meyself signed out of sync, so that's fixed. But some sites, like monorail and gmail, both asked me to sign in again just after signing into and then out of one of the app engine sites. Still, I'm fine closing this and I'll file another one if I confirm the "log out of sites" behavior.
