Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_2) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.99 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:

1) Find a multiline text region where one line begins with a new tag.
2) Copy the text region.
3) Paste the text into contenteditable.

What is the expected behavior?
The text should paste with spaces between words intact.

What went wrong?
The space between two words is removed, so the words run together.

Did this work before? N/A 

Does this work in other browsers? N/A

Chrome version: 67.0.3396.99  Channel: stable
OS Version: OS X 10.13.2
Flash Version: 

It looks like https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=318925 regression.

Tested with 67.0.3396.9 on Mac, but couldn't reproduce. Also tested the test case in  issue 318925 , which isn't regressed, either.
