Unclickable switch on new tab page |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: 67.0.3396.99 OS: Linux May be a problem with the page served by Search (wasn't there yesterday, so doesn't seem to be tied to the Chrome version). What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Ctrl+T to open new tab page. What is the expected result? Normal. What happens instead? There is a switch in the top-left corner of the page (see screenshot from a fresh Chrome). It can't be clicked, but if you dig in the dev tools inspector, you find that it's a switch called #bg-daily-refresh. There are also some very rough-looking text lines below the thumbnails which seem like button labels but they don't do anything: Customize background Chrome wallpapers Select a collection Daily refresh Done

I restricted view because I thought it might be an internal-only issue, but I see discussion on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/chrome/comments/902vrl/anyone_seeing_the_bgdailyrefresh_toggle_switch_on/ So opening up to public.

I just noticed this too. Latest stable Chrome on Windows 10. I thought it was an errant/malicious extension at first. Came here via the above reddit post. |
