Issue descriptionChrome version : 68.0.3440.68 (Official Build) d2ca6001e233a025f2e51e7b97ca8fade5cb6a18-refs/branch-heads/3440@{#710}(64 bit) OS : Mac(10.12.6 , 10.13.1 , 10.13.6, 10.14) OS Precondition: Enable ‘Use Views browser windows instead of Cocoa’ flags from ‘chrome://flags’. Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch chrome ,open NTP and Open 'Task manager' overlay from wrench menu 2. Now kill 'GPU' process for 2-3 times and observe. Actual Result: Task manager overlay turns blank after killing GPU process. Expected Result: Task manager overlay should not be turn blank after killing GPU process. This is Non-Regression issue seen from ‘M-67’ ,as this flag has been introduced from build #67.0.3381.0. Note:Issue is not seen on Win(7,8,8.1,10) and Linux(14.04 LTS) OS

This seems WAI, since the GPU process is required to render the task manager (as well as all UI) in Views. The topchrome and web content also blink in the video for the same reason. Please reopen if I'm misunderstanding something. |
