Able to tap on popup menu items while sliding through

Issue description

App Version: 69.0.3494.0 canary
iOS Version: 10.3.3, 11.4, 12 Beta 3
Device: iPhone and iPad

Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch chrome
2. Long press on the menu
3. Without releasing slide the finger over the list of menu items
4. Tap on other item where is the sliding finger is not present

Observed results:
Notice that item is tappable

Expected results:
Item shouldn’t be tappable

Number of times you were able to reproduce: 5/5
Bug reproducible after clean install: Yes/No
Bug reproducible after clearing cache and cookies: Yes/No
Bug reproducible on Chrome Mobile on Android: Not tested
Bug reproducible on Safari/Firefox: Firefox: NA, Safari: NA
Bug reproducible on current stable build (App Version, iOS Version): No on M67
Bug reproducible on the current beta channel build (App Version, iOS Version): No on M68

This is not WAI and should correspond to the expected result mentioned in the description (i.e. the second gesture/finger should have no effect).

It is not WAI but quite an edge case in my opinion. Borderline between P2 and P3.
