Can you please show a video or describe the issue in more detail? For example, after I enter the URL chrome://newtab (and hit return), I see a new tab page with a search box. I don't see a suggestion list. Step 2 doesn't make sense to me. thanks!

Hi, The bug is in the 'Adaware secure search' which is displaying in the top right corner of the crome tab. Once you install it for chrome browser then the error will occur. Thanks & Regards Akanksha Oli +91- 7579001918

You should report the error to the people who make "Adaware secure search". That product is not a built-in feature of Chrome, so errors that happen with that product are likely due to bugs in that product.

This will reduce the productivity of the chrome browser because this kind of plugins is not showing in any other browser i.e Firefox, IE, Opera. you should not allow any harmful apps who create such kind of trouble. Thanks & Regards Akanksha Oli +91- 7579001918

Apologies, we try to block harmful apps, and we encourage users to use antivirus. These tools cannot block everything, though they try. There is certainly other "malware" that sneaks into other browsers too. |
